St Patrick & Easter cards

I haven't been able to craft much lately due to cleaning out and organizing my stuff. Another crafter & I are clearing out unwanted/unused items to sell at a sale in Mooresville, NC in May. (more details on that sale later)  I did want to post the 2 cards I did manage to make in between organizing.  I try to give credit where it's due but I don't remember where I got the inspiration for this St Pat's card.

I used the stamp set Rainbows end from Stampin up to create the background and the words for the tag.  I used a shamrock embossing folder and inked the edges in green.  I used a flower stamp (CTMH?) and cut out a petal to make it a clover. Added pearls to the centers & on the tag.

The Easter card I got the inspiration from "jansstampingcreations.com"  I used CTMH & SU products for my card.

I used ink colors from CTMH (sweet leaf, pixie, canary, crystal blue, gypsy) and CTMH stamp set Brushstrokes.  I created my card base using green cardstock.  I cut the white piece smaller than the base.  Ran that through my cuttlebug using a Darice Dot embossing folder.  Using a thin metal egg shaped die I selected the size I wanted to use for my card and cut that out in the center. (I saved the polka dot egg to use on another project) On a piece of white paper I stamped the brushstrokes image in rows.  I placed the embossed piece over the stamped image for placement and trimmed the stamped piece down in size.  Adhere the stamped image on the card base and attach the embossed piece with pop dots. I used the petite petals & bird builder punches from SU to make the floers & leaves.  I attached those with pop dots and placed pearls in the centers.  I used the sentiment from SU's something to celebrate set and stamped that in sweet leaf and punched it out using the modern label punch from SU and used pop dots on that also.

I hope you enjoyed my cards and I will post others I've done for inspiration.

Thanks for looking and happy crafting!!
